The Sandoz HACk — a Competition and a Conversation (2 min read)
Connecting people to better health using mobile technology
The Sandoz HACk – Healthcare Access Challenge – is a global competition to help tackle some of the world’s most pressing healthcare access problems. We are calling on young people to ‘hack healthcare access’ with suggestions on ways to use mobile technology to connect people to better health. Such technologies include simple SMS-based services for mobile phones, sophisticated apps for smartphones or tablets, and wearable tech, for example. The ideas could be for helping people in communities, cities, or anywhere that mobile technology could make a difference.
Enter Sandoz HACk today!
It is easy to enter the competition. On the Sandoz Global Facebook page, creative thinkers between the ages of 18–35 should describe their ideas (in English) in one of the following ways:
- One to two-minute video
- 150-200 word post
Then they will receive an entry form to fill out and return. Following a robust judging process, finalists will receive mentoring and financial support from Sandoz to develop their ideas. Entries have already come in from around the world: Brazil, Canada, India, Romania and Thailand, to name a few. But we are sure there are more great ideas out there! The deadline is November 30, 2016. So enter today!
